What do I need to do to be able to bid on a bird? Firstly you need to register, it is a short process taking only 2 minutes of your time and you only need to do so once. Once registration is complete you are free to make use of any one of two methods of bidding.
What is the minimum bid increase? The minimum bid increase is R100
How does the Auction Prolongment work? If a bid is received within the last 15 minutes prior to the auction ending the closing time for that particular bird will be extended by 15 minutes, until 15 minutes have passed without a bid being placed.
How does the shipment of the bird and the cost work? Depending on where the pigeon is situated it can be collected directly from the seller or it will be shipped to the buyer or the auctioneer by any means available by the seller. Transport costs will be for the buyers account. Shipping for 1-4 pigeons are R500.00
Payment? Once you have successfully won a bid on a pigeon you will be contacted by e-mail or phone within 24 hours to arrange payment of your purchase. No pigeons will be released by the sellers or auctioneer until such time as the money is reflected in our bank account.
Buyer have 14 Days to make payment on purchase.
Once buyer has received the bird payment will be made from us to the seller.
This way both parties are protected.
20% Commission fee will be paid to GJT AUCTIONS by the seller.
